Judy Ditchfield

What do you get when you combine an actress, playwright, director,musician and mother?... Judy Ditchfield ! Judy is an award winning South African performer best known for her role as Stella Fouche on SABC3’s primetime soapie Isidingo. She is also the female lead in one of our Diversity Management programmes.

Judy has been married to actor Paul Ditchfield since 1988. They have two children: Keaton (born 1991) and Thomas (born 1996).

After school Judy attended the University of Natal, Pietermaritxburg, achieving a BA Degree in Psychology and Drama. After graduating Judy was offered a contract with the Natal Performing Arts Council (NAPAC), where she worked for four years, from 1984 - 1987. Judy’s a natural born comedy actress and won a Naledi award for her role in the comedy film ‘Heel against the Head’ Judy loves to act and she plans to keep on entertaining South Africa for years to come.
